Olympic Productions books variety bands around the U.S. and occassionally internationally (very large events). Please let us know where your event will be held (see "I want a band now form"), and we will be happy to look for a band in your area. We have a number of variety bands on file in various metro areas.

NOTE: The bands below play a wide variety of music INCLUDING JAZZ.

Pricing can vary from $1000-3500.00+ Most quality 4-6pc groups average $2000-3000.00 in the Northwest.

Bands can usually play a combination of background music and/or dance music. Bands usually bring their own P.A., and are self-contained.

- Size of group may vary from 3-6pc (larger bands available.)

- Instrumentation may include various combinations of Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Winds (sax, flute, clarinet), Brass(usually trumpet), etc.

Please call or email for songlist (easiest via FAX) and more information about any band listed below. Songlists may be comprehensive or sample-oriented. Keep in mind that all of the bands below play hundreds of requested songs, and the musicians are tremendously versatile.

Theresa Carnovale is a gifted and versatile entertainer. An exceptional vocalist, she leads a fantastic professional band in a incredibly wide variety of musical styles including pop, jazz, rock, and latin. Theresa has a great voice and stage presence, guaranteed to add excitement and fun to any event!

 

THE DREAMATICS

The Dreamatics are a complete versatile band that features the vocals of Maggie Laird. The group can perform as a 3-4pc group (To get a big-band sound horns can be added as well). The band has performed all over the NW for weddings, parties, conventions, nightclubs, festivals, etc. The band is capable of both light background and up-tempo dance music.

 

THE GROOVE DIRECTORS

A Wild and Crazy FUN Band For All Occassions!

The Groove Directors features Steve Ryals, one of the friendliest and wildest sax-trumpet-flute-clarinet players you'll ever find. Steve dances and spins around the dance floor! This is a band for R & B and Rock n Roll lovers. The group can cover jazz and latin styles as well, and works wonderfully for high-energy affairs.

 

HILLARY HARRIS BAND

Superb Jazz/Pop/Classical Vocalist For All Occassions!

Hillary Harris does it all with style. She has a soulful, swinging and sassy voice, and can handle jazz standards, ballads, rock and roll, pop, and latin with ease. Hillary has sung on cruises (Princess), at major hotels (Hyatt, Creekside-Idaho) and a wide scope of clubs in the NW. Her corporate clients include Nordstrom, Boeing, and IBM. As a classical vocalist, Hillary can also sing wedding ceremonies.

 

THE CRAIG LAWRENCE BAND

Craig Lawrence is an outstanding music in the NW who puts together the finest musicians and arrangements of just about every style know to humans. The band has played in just about every location, and has a long list of references.

Sanders-Lauber Band (aka CARAVAN)

The Sanders-Lauber Band(formerly "Caravan") features some of the best musicians in the NW on a variety of instruments. Murl Sanders is a dynamic keyboardist, vocalist and accordianist (!) Libby Torrence, who occassionally sings with the group has performed with The Reputations, and the Mel Cooleys. The band performs at many events throughout the years and has been together for over 12 years.

 

FRED SCHACTLER BANDS

Cookin' Swing Variety Dance Up To Big Band

Fred Schactler is a well know band leader in the NW, with a wide variety of professional performing experience. Fred has bands including trios, quartets, quintets, and even an 11 piece swing band! Fred is a real star and has performed at hotels, corporations, fairs, festivals, and private parties of all kinds.

Variety Pack features the vocals of Jennifer Lind, one of the best and versatile vocalists in the NW. Jennifer can also sing classical and popular music for the ceremony. She has worked with Michael Tomlinson, Michael Powers, and the Larry Elgart Big Band. This is a band for R & B and Rock n Roll lovers. The group can cover jazz and latin styles as well, and works wonderfully for high-energy affairs.
