Dave lives in Geneva, Illinois, and has been a percussionist for over twenty-five years.  Playing with several bands in the past, Dave is a fifteen year veteran of the regional club circuit.   He also is on faculty at Waubonsee Community College and Imperial School of Music.  Ten years ago, Dave started playing pan in college.  Over the years, Dave has studied with some of the leaders in the field.  Today he is an acclaimed pan player, bringing his musical experience and outstanding soloing abilities to each performance.

Cincinnati's Premiere Carribean ensemble

The Bacchanal Steel Band is Cincinnati’s premiere Caribbean ensemble, featuring instruments made from 55-gallon oil barrels.  Since 1998, the band has been entertaining and educating around the tri-state and beyond with it’s combination of calypso, soca, reggae, pop, and classical music.  Some recent performances include: the Hamilton County Park District, World Jam, Peanut Butter and Jam Sessions, Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati Art Museum, Newport Aquarium, Christ Church Glendale, Proctor & Gamble, Cincinnati Enquirer, and the Blue Ash Air Show.

Cincinnati's Premiere Carribean ensemble

In order to fulfill a demand for traditional Island music, the steel band combo Island Ed & His Fiery Limbo Revue was born.  The combo is composed of graduates from Miami University.  Their unique Caribbean music has been enjoyed at venues ranging from private parties to wedding receptions to corporate events. Ensemble instrumentation includes: one lead pan, a set of double tenor pans, a bass guitar, and a drum set. The performers in this ensemble have fifteen years of combined experience with a steel drum band (see individual biographical information). Island Ed & His Fiery Limbo Revue specialize in authentic Island music originating in Trinidad and Tobago, Latin America, and Brazil. In addition, transcriptions of contemporary pop music from the United States are included in their repertoire. Island Ed & His Fiery Limbo Revue will provide an energetic, infectious show that will heat up any event and scorch the memory of a good time into the minds of all that witness the performance.  Their steel pan music reflects the philosophy of the Islands, ranging from laid back and relaxed to a hot limbo contest.
