Jazz Bands

These bands are great for Clubs, Weddings, Private Parties, & Corporate events.

-Bands can usually play a combination of background music and/or SWING dance music. They are NOT necessarily variety-oriented (ROCK/POP)

-Bands usually bring their own P.A., and are self-contained.

-Repertoire for jazz bands usually includes a variety of standards, swing, light latin (bossa-novas, cha-chas, etc.), and ballads (slower tunes).

-Size of group may vary from 2-6pc (larger bands available.)

Typical instrumentation: (NOTE: bands listed may vary from these options)

Solo: (1pc) Guitar, Keyboard/Piano, Vibes (Sax solo with electronic accompaniment is available)

Duo: (2pc) Guitar, Keyboard/Piano and Bass

Trio: (3pc) ADD Drumset (especially if there is dancing)

Quartet: (4pc) ADD Sax, Flute, Clarinet, or Trumpet

-Larger ensembles will generally include another Sax, Flute, Clarinet, or Trumpet.
