• For Your Next Special Event:
  Ed Hartman performs music from around the world on a professional-model vibraphone (like a xylophone or marimba but with metal bars) .  Music includes classical, jazz, ethnic and popular songs, a history of mallet instruments, and a crowd pleasing sing-along.   By using electronics and live percussion instruments, Ed becomes a ONE-MAN BAND!! 

  A concert with Ed might feature classical music by Bach, jazz by Gershwin, a tango from Argentina,  a samba from Brazil, a calypso a la Harry Belafonte, and a crowd pleasing sing-along from the turn of the century.  Audiences of all ages are enchanted and amazed at the range of styles.  The presentation is relaxed and informal, as Ed has broken down the usual wall between performer and audience.  This concert is a truly different kind of performance.

  Marimba shows are also available (more Caribbean, Latin), but are generally more expensive.  The size of the marimba (7 1/2 feet!) limits the performance options (loading, no elevators)  Outdoor summer marimba shows are lots of fun for picnics, etc.
